  1. Deflate the old shock fully, then remove lower bolt M8 Β· 85 in-lb and upper axle M10 Β· 10 Nm.
  2. Press the kit reducers into the new shock's eyes β€” 39.9 Γ— M10 upper, 39.9 Γ— M8 lower.
  3. Seat the shock, hand-thread both bolts, then torque lower 85 in-lb, upper 10 Nm.
  4. Cycle full travel slowly with the air out β€” check nothing touches the frame.
  5. Set sag to 30 % (15.2 mm of the 50.8 stroke) at riding weight.
  6. While it's apart: run the 4-step pivot health check (see Job 1) β€” bearings are 427337 + 427344 if it fails.
